Michelle Malkin has updates.

C-SPAN has live coverage

Dana Loesch has uncovered a letter from a pro-abortion Pastor which exposes PelosiCare’s pro-abortion provisions.

In St. Louis, Tea Partyers, 9-12ers, and other concerned citizens are gathering now at Rep. Russ Carnahan’s office on Manchester at Brentwood for the St. Louis Congressional House Call, as citizens prepare to storm the castle and make Congress listen.

Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO): “We are one nation under God. It’s altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. And it drives the liberals nuts!” Missouri’s Akin led the Pledge of Allegiance at the protest on the steps.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN): “It was Thomas Jefferson who said, ‘A little revolution now and then is a good thing.’”

Mark Levin: “They don’t know what they’re in for next November, do they?” Crowd chanting “Vote Them Out!”

UPDATE: Patch W. Adams points to ABC News report that puts DC House Call crowd estimate at 75,000+. Wow! I’ll bet Rayburn and Cannon Office Buildings are claustrophobic about now. The plan was for all 75,000 to storm the corridors and let Congress people know how they feel.

RESTORATION!!

ST. LOUIS HOUSE CALL: Report from Sharp Elbows who was at Rep. Carnahan’s office where AFP Missouri Director Carl Bearden paid a House Call on the short-timer from District 3. Two hundred folks showed on a work day and on short notice. Congrats to Carl and to the patriots who sent a loud and clear message to Carnahan and the entire Missouri delegation.

Band of Political Warriors

Doug Hoffman’s brief but remarkable campaign for the US House against liberals from both major parties lacked many of the resources available to most modern candidates. What it had in abundance, though, was passion.

Lamar Wells leads a band of 9-12 Project folks in upstate New York. Three weeks ago, the Hoffman campaign, unable to cover all of the district with canvassers and staffers, put out the call for volunteers. Lamar didn’t perform a risk/benefit analysis. He raised his hand, knowing that the passionate folks in his 9-12 club would rise to the occasion.

They did. Working day and night, using up vacation days intended for more personal pursuits, and sleeping when they could, Lamar’s 9-12 Project team delivered all 3 counties in its jurisdiction for Hoffman. Their tireless efforts, their “attack” mentality, their commitment to move forward made Hoffman’s mad dash as close as it was.

Take a moment to thank this band of political warriors. Their example will show us all the way in 2010.

House Calls

Today is the House Call on Congress. In Washington, Michele Bachmann will host thousands of patriotic, concerned citizens. They will hear from great speakers, including Mark Levin, on the Capitol Steps, then they’ll knock on doors in Congressional office buildings to tell members of Congress to their faces that we WILL NOT STAND FOR a Washington takeover of healthcare.

In St. Louis, Carl Bearden is leading the House Call at Rep. Russ Carnahan’s office on Manchester at Brentwood Blvd. at noon. St. Louis is an anchor city for this event, so plan on getting national TV coverage if you can get their. What better way to spend your lunch?

Think you can’t make a difference? The President swore he’d takeover your healthcare by the August recess. You stopped him. Then he swore he’d do in September. You stopped him. Then he stopped giving dates. So Nancy Pelosi swore she’d takeover your healthcare in October. You stopped her. Then she said she do it by Friday of this week. Now she says Saturday.

When members of Congress and their staffs cannot navigate the halls of Washington because of the constituents scouring the corridors, you can bet the Blue Dogs, already in fear of their political lives, will tell Nancy “no way.”

St. Louis area sent a bus and a 7 mini-van caravan to DC. A gentleman who was at the Organizing for America opening last night caught a flight to DC this morning. Like Lamar Wells’s warriors, the healthcare battle has heroes galore.

If you cannot attend any of the House Calls today, you can pray that our message reaches open ears and minds. And for a safe trip for the patriots.

We have tickets for the hearing on Thurs. We are staying at the Days Inn in Alexandria and will be riding the Metro to the Capitol on Thurs. Will you be able to join us? I have received contributions from people, so if you need help "funding the trip," we can help you out. Some people are sleeping 4 to a room to cut down on hotel expenses.

Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann of Minnesota has called for a Nationwide House Call on Congress to STOP GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER of your Healthcare decisions.

NOON THURSDAY IN BRENTWOOD, MO. Re-enact the Recess Rally!!!! (scroll for map)

Here’s what Dick Armey has to say:

Late last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House version of the government takeover of healthcare was ready for a vote. It looks like the vote will occur in a few days, likely Friday, November 6th! This is our last chance to stop this monstrosity of a bill from becoming law. You have fought this trillion dollar scheme for months now, and have poured your heart and soul into this battle. For that, you have my utmost respect and thanks. But this fight has reached a key moment, as the House of Representatives gets ready to vote later this week.

If we can stop Pelosi-Care, we might be able to save our country from further encroachments on our liberty, and eventually restore limited government to America.

And here’s what I have to say:

A government takeover of healthcare would irreversibly end capitalism in America. This is the most SINISTER and EVIL legislation since the ALIEN and SEDITION Acts under progressive Woodrow Wilson. If we do not stop socialized medicine, future generations will never comprehend what “American Ideal” means.

If you want to be part of the BRICK WALL stopping SOCIALIZED MEDICINE make a HOUSE CALL on REP. RUSS CARNAHAN’S office this Thursday at NOON.

In addition, there is a BUS TRIP to Washington, DC, leaving very early Wednesday and returning on Friday. (Details requested—will post when available)
