It’ll Be Back

Cap and Trade would destroy our economy. The “green economy” has failed in every country that it has been implemented in, with each “green job” destroying 2.2 “real jobs.” It has been an obsession of the Senate Democrats, which is what makes it so curious that Senator Reid dropped Cap and Trade from their agenda.

It’s foolish to think that this has really been dropped from the Democrat’s agenda, though. They recently pulled the same stunt with the controversial Public Option, which has been resurrected.

The only reasonable mindset as to why Senate Democrats would pull Cap and Trade is sinking poll numbers. A recent poll shows that 70% of the population opposes Cap and Trade. Pushing a controversial reform right before elections when Republicans are already favored wouldn’t be a smart move. Expect a Cap and Trade revival during the lame duck session following November elections.
