It looks more and more like Nancy Pelosi will break any law of justice or reason to shove socialized medicine down our throats.
That means we’ll need a lot of good men and women in the next Congress to repeal everything this Congress has done, and to slap down that scrawny socialist from Chicago. With Senator Kit Bond retiring, his Senate seat is open.
Our great friends in the Franklin County Patriots, especially Jedidiah Smith, have worked hard to put together a forum where you can meet and learn who’s best qualified to represent our interest in the U.S. Senate for the next 6 years. Most importantly, you will decide which candidates will be on the November ballot. Because primary turnout is traditionally much lower than general election turnout, the primary on August 3 is your chance to exercise maximum influence. You’ve worked too hard in the past year to let this opportunity slip by.
Please plan to attend the forum on March 20 in Jefferson City.

And while we’re talking elections, don’t forget to vote on April 6. Proposition A, a 14 percent sales tax increase, is on the ballot everywhere in St. Louis County. In many places, it’s the ONLY thing on the ballot. Don’t let this prop become law through apathy. Plan to vote on April 6. It should only take a minute.
