5 Days of Illinois *UPDATE*

That tantalizing scent in the air is the smell of victory. It’s blowing in from the east.

In Illinois where the Tea Party movement began a year ago with Rick Santelli’s rant on CNBC, the only true Tea Party candidate, Adam Andrzejewski, is surging.  Surging!  And it couldn’t happen at a better time.  Here’s his new ad:

I’ve heard that another candidate in the race is claiming to be “endorsed” by tea parties.  It’s a crock. Adam Andrzejewski is the only organic Tea Partier in the race.  And while there’s no polling data of any kind from the last week (that I know of), a review of mentions on twitter, facebook, Google, and Technorati all show a marked increase in energy and attention for Andrzejewski in the past week. But enough to win?

Absolutely.  But for the Adam to win, he’ll need every Tea Partier and 9-12er to GET OUT THE CONSERVATIVE VOTE throughout the state.  That means a 5 day surge for Adam starting today and ending with a celebration on Tuesday.

So here’s what Tea Partiers everywhere do to get a real fiscal conservative with a great sense of humor on the ballot;

• If you can, attend the Lech Walesa Lunch in Chicago today to witness the Cold War hero endorse Adam
• 5 friends need to hear from you before Tuesday (email, call, text, direct tweet, facebook wall)
• 2 tweets a day with links to http://adamforillinois.com and referencing @adamforillinois (or retweet someone else’s)
• 1 donation, if you can, of $10

Finally, on Tuesday, get out and vote.  Make sure your friends and family who believe in self-government also get out. Vote early, too, so you can spend the rest of the day proudly telling everyone you see, “I voted for Adam Andrzejewski for Governor!”
