Could the Dems Lose Ted Kennedy’s Senate Seat? *UPDATE*
*Bumped to Headline*
Up in Massachusetts, a State Senator named Scott Brown could take Ted Kennedy’s seat in the U.S. Senate. I can’t imagine a louder slap to Obama’s face (or Andy Stern’s, for that matter) than HIS seat becoming the 41st against socialized medicine.
Scott Brown, a 30-year Army National Guard veteran, is up against Martha Coakley, a favorite of the wacky left. Coakley kept an innocent man in jail for 3 years in order to advance her radical feminism street cred. She conspired with the SEIU to illegally use state phones and state employees in her campaign. The Democrat also has close ties to Kevin Jennings, the Fistgate Safe Schools Czar whose radical school agenda was outed by Gateway Pundit. Coakley also seems to prefer jihadis to their victims, pushing for American trials for Gitmo terrorists.
The mainstream media have been silent on this race, which probably means the polls are trending toward the Republican Brown. With the election only 3 weeks away, expect this race to get a lot of attention soon. We might need to have a cyber Barn Raising Party and help steal Kennedy’s seat from the socialists. If the Democrats lose that 60th vote, Cap and Trade and Card Check could be off the table.
Have any friends in the Bay State? Maybe they need a gentle reminder to get involved.
*UPDATE* Ed Morrissey wants to know where the national GOP is in this race? They were all over supporting lefty Scozzafava, but Steele and the RNC seem to have abandoned Brown. Is this payback to conservatives for backing Hoffman? Let’s light up Steele’s phone: 202-863-8500. Or email at info@gop.org.

Bill,
I have read this sentence ten times and I think it’d got a mistake. “She conspired with the SEIU to illegally use state phones and state employees to campaign against Coakley.”
Am I correct?
Elaine
