The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition’s “Letting Off Steam” this Saturday, November 28 at Noon in Kiener Plaza. Tea Party originators Dana Loesch and Bill Hennessy announced the event as a celebration of the Year of the Tea Party and as a Christmas Card to the US Senate.

The event runs from Noon to about 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.  In addition to local and celebrity speakers, Young Americans for Liberty will erect their Soviet Gulag, where you can experience the horrors of political incarceration for failing to maintain health insurance approved by Nancy Pelosi.

Plus, there’ll be live music and Christmas Cards for Congress.  Bring some cards, markers, and stamps and join us on a walk to the Post Office with thousands of yuletide comments for Congress.

Porta Potties On Their Way
Many thanks to the 8 patriots who jumped in to cover my . . . oversight on the port-a-potties.  Thanks, also, to Jake Wagman and other local media who helped get the word out.  (Although, maybe they were concerned because they’ll be covering the event Saturday?)   Anyway, R and R Sanitation will deliver 4 units to the East end of the park, so, well, bottoms up!

This is a busy week for everyone, but rest assured that local media are cooperating.  Dana Loesch and 97.1 FM have carried the story for weeks.  KMOV Channel 4 covered the story on Monday with a fantastic report.  Jake Wagman noted our speakers AND our deep concern for personal comfort in The Fix on stltoday.com.  Mark  Reardon of KMOX spoke with headliner James O’Keefe on Tuesday afternoon.
