Who Will Oppose Russ “I Can’t Read” Carnahan?
We still don’t know for sure, but our old friend Ed Martin Jr. might. It looks like he’ll be announcing his decision at McArthur’s Bakery on Lemay Ferry Road next Wednesday, September 30.
Here’s an invitation to the rally from Dave McArthur of McArthur’s Bakery.
Shortly, we will begin asking candidates to endorse the Tea Party movement and its values by signing a pledge to advance a set of specific reforms. Those candidates who sign the pledge will be listed on this site. Their compliance with that pledge will be noted and reported right here.
Regardless of party, we surround them. We are working toward a Congress filled with men and women who are proud to be surrounded by their constituents.
Note: The rally is NOT a Tea Party event, but we strongly encourage everyone to know their candidates, to take part in the political process, and to support qualified candidates who advance our values of limited government and fiscal responsibility.

We just returned from the rally. It was great. I’m a terrible guess at crowd size so I won’t even make an attempt. I do know, though, if more people could hear Ed Martin speak, they would realize he is just like them. We need to spread the word.
There were a few children in the back yelling OBAMA but the speakers were able to keep the attention of the audience and very few people turned around to acknowledge the children. Since they weren’t creating a problem, they gave up and left.
Go ED! We’re behind you 100%.
