Obamaspeak: Don’t believe it **UPDATE**

Tonight the President will make his case for a Washington takeover of healthcare.  He will muster all of his charm and wit.  He’ll break out the special prompters.  He’ll be poised and polished.  He’ll tell you all kinds of things, if you listen.

• He’ll tell you he’s listened to the debate.  CHECK
• He’ll tell you that you’ve been lied to by insurance companies.  CHECK
• He’ll tell you that he’s open to new ideas.  CHECK
• He’ll tell you that he’s consulted with everyone. CHECK
• He’ll tell you he’s reached out to the other side, and that the other side only slapped his hand away. CHECK
• He’ll tell you a public option is the only way.  CHECK
• He’ll tell you that the experts all agree. CHECK
• He’ll tell you horror stories about people who died because insurance companies wanted them to. CHECK
• He’ll tell you horror stories about businesses going under because they can’t afford health insurance. CHECK
• He’ll tell you a public option is not a path to socialized medicine or single payer. CHECK
• He’ll tell you anything he thinks he needs to say. CHECK
• He’ll tell you anything he thinks you want to hear. CHECK
• He’ll tell you whatever he feels like saying.  CHECK
• He’ll lie without batting an eye, as he did to the school children yesterday.  CHECK

In the end, it’s up to you.  You can judge him by his consoling, conciliatory words, or by his radical and arrogant actions.  He surrounds himself with communists, radicals, racists, and eugenicists and speaks like Gandhi. 

Don’t believe what he tells you.  Believe what he does.
