KMOX covers the wrong story
It’s 4:30pm on this beautiful Saturday, and my wife and I just returned from the invigorating Tea Party rally at Russ Carnahan’s office in St. Louis. I noticed a KMOX reporter there, and so I was curious to see if they had posted anything about the event on their web site. Here’s their lead story under Top Local News: Rally of support held for health care reform. The photo showed a handful of pro-Obama demonstrators, with none of us in sight. The story was filed by Brad Choat (jbchoat@cbs.com), and while it liberally (pun intended) quoted several Obama supporters, it made nary a mention of the much larger contingent of demonstrators opposed to ObamaCare.
This is yet another example of biased reporting. The anti-Obama crowd was at least 5 times as large as those who support his brand of socialism. Furthermore, judging from the friendly waves and beeps of passing motorists, I would say we had a significant majority there as well.
It will be interesting to see if KMOX tells the real story in a later report. If not, I think we should send a steaming pile of nasty-grams to Mr. Choat and the station.

Well, I should have waited 15 minutes, because KMOX just posted our story on the their web site as Tea Party Recess Rally Day in St. Louis. Thanks, Mr. Choat for mentioning that hundreds of people attended our rally. I notice you didn’t mention the much smaller crowd supporting Obama. 
BTW, when I saw the second KMOX article, I tried to change mine to say “KMOX covers the wrong story.” However, this software doesn’t allow you to change the title after an item has been posted. Once again, my best intentions were thwarted by technology.

The state run media is corrupt and is no longer an umpire but instead has become and advocate and cheerleader of electing and propping up the Obama administration. That’s why I cancelled my Sunday Chicago Tribune—-it wasn’t even good enough for lining bird cages. Your St. Louis paper is the same thing—–and they wonder why they’re going out of business?? Because they know more about bs rather then being savvy at business. Do they think if they insult, deride and ignore the majority—-we’re going to pay for their bs. No way!
Quite a turn out yesterday for our side.
Where on earth did the obama admin..dig those people up? Not to insult the Amish (but) and the girl with red hair, the slinky black dress and stelettos I think about 15 or so. Didn’t see any union thugs or corn workers.
