Wrong Side of the ‘prompter
Some people really need to avoid extemporaneous speech. The President is one of them.
Today he stumbled onto a formula for computing the effeciency and effectiveness of ObamaCare.
Are you ready?
ObamaCare is to Real Insurance as Post Office is to FedEx.
Had I originated this formula, the kooks would call me a racist. But Obama says that his plan is to have you take a number, stand in line for an hour, pay a lot of money, and have your valuable specimen lost in the ether of USPSpace and he’s considered the smartest man who ever lived.
Speaking of smart men:

Not to mention the one on the right, Rep. Carnahan (D-MO)
Congressman Carnahan is on his way to Antarctica in hopes of solving global warming. Just like Russ to investigate the end of the earth where ice is growing. In winter.
Butthead would know better.
Finally, it seems some idiot tried to snatch an unauthorized sign from a woman at Sen. McCaskill’s Town Hall in Hillsboro, MO, today. According to KC Star, the man was arrested and charged with assault. Regardless of the political persuasion of the man, he needed to do only 3 things to make his day a success:
1. Show up
2. Sit down
3. Keep hands to self
Dude, I know you didn’t hospitalize anyone, but are you really so undisciplined? You can’t go 2 hours without touching someone? No matter how annoying and disruptive she was, you couldn’t just sit there and relish the image of a Green Party candidate being excoriated by a liberal Democrat? Really?
On behalf of millions of Americans who want to make everyone’s medical experience better without resorting to socialism: Thanks for the effort. But next time, stay home.

Don’t get me wrong – few things are funnier than looking at the AMAZING similarity between Butthead and Russ (it really is hilarious). But since this is the http://www.StLouisTeaParty.com site – maybe start pushing the positives surrounding the 9/12 marches? Maybe a nice sticky post?
I just received an update regarding the Washington DC march (which I will be attending) at http://912dc.org/2009/08/the-march-on-washington-update/ and I am absolutely pumped.
Can we encourage people to be seen on the big stage in DC – and if they can’t make the 12-hour drive, then use the local protests as a fall-back plan?
How big of a statement would it be to get 2,000 people from each state to DC? 100,000 or more marching from Freedom Plaza, through the Mall, and up the steps of Congress?
What would Thomas Jefferson do in these times? What would Samuel Adams or Thomas Paine do?
I believe what the man did was wrong.
I was sitting across the aisle and I could see the pain and frustration in his eyes as the woman waved the poster at him. He has lived a long time and probably cannot cope with how helpless he feels.
Obummmer has single handidly divided this great country so deeply that I fear it will never recover.
