Demand Justice! Denounce Violence! Saturday at SEIU Office
DATE: Saturday, August 8, 2009 (tomorrow)
TIME: Noon
LOCATION: SEIU Headquarters, 5585 Pershing Ave., Suite 130, St. Louis, MO 63112
The St. Louis Tea Party will hold a press conference and peaceable protest at SEIU Headquarters
5585 Pershing Ave., Suite 130, St. Louis, MO 63112 at Noon Saturday, August 8, 2009.
The protest is to demand justice for Kenneth Gladney, an African-American conservative who was brutally beaten by 4 individuals, at least 2 of whom were identified as SEIU representatives. The beatings included racial slurs and required hospitalization of Mr. Gladney.
As videos show, the attack was unprovoked and no one retaliated against the union thugs.
This attack followed hours of taunts and verbal assaults by SEIU and ACORN members upon citizens gathered to express their views under the First Amendment. We believe this brutal beating is part of an organized plan to suppress dissent to the Administration’s planned seizure of the medical industry in the United States.
Anyone who believes in non-violent protest, in the rule of law, in the right of black men and women to express conservative political views, in the right to peaceably assemble, to speak freely, and to petition Congress for a redress of grievances is invited to attend.
The Tea Party specifically requests the NAACP and the ACLU to come out in support of Kenneth Gladney’s rights which were trampled by these hooligans. We call on Representative Russ Carnahan to denounce the beating. We call on President Obama to denounce the beatings. We call on St. Louis County to prosecute the assailants to fullest extent of the law.

It is clear that the pro-labor forces are mobilized. They are listening to Washington Democrats’ advice to “punch back twice as hard.” Who better to turn peaceable protests violent than a bunch of union thugs?
I am not intimidated, but rather more motivated than ever to show up to each and every event to be seen, if not heard. Further, we need as many video cameras as possible at these events. If anything, documenting these things and sharing them via the Internet is one of our best hopes at countering this union thuggery.

I would recommend people contacting the President of the East Hillsborough Democrat Political Club at the above link about Karen Miracle, their treasurer (the woman seen slapping a guy on Drudge), and her assault on a tea party member. Link to the photos and demand her termination (full array of photos here: http://www.tampabay.com/specials/2009/photo_galleries/TownHall/ (photos 9-16)
How can an adult get away with slapping another person without being arrested?
Just mentioned on Rush Limbaugh.
Do not despair. Help is available at http://goflagyourself.com/ .
I applaud your efforts on the Tea Party at SEIU HQ but please please please show up in groups and make sure you have many many Video Cameras recording at all times, For your own protection! And Make sure your cameras are covering each other at all times! This is very important!
Good Luck and Godspeed!

I will be there. It’s time to show these thugs that we will not be intimidated into keeping silent while the Democrats in power rob us all blind. I will have a video and digital camera and I will let them know that this type of action will NOT be tolerated.
Take a buddy and never leave each others side while there! And kudos for standing up for your rights!

I was watching “John Adams” today, and there is a scene that reminded me so much of what happened last night. A mob tars and feathers a man, and John Adams turns to his cousin Samuel and says,
“Can you sanction this barbarism, this brutality — to make a political point?”
I would ask the same thing, of the President, of course. It is especially reprehenible because the SEIU thugs beat a black man! After all the hoopla about Gates, why no love for Gladney?
Thank God that you patriots are standing up to these Chicago thugs. Obama’s using the same play book he did here when he had his goons shake down the banks to give loans. Make no mistake that they are dispatched to intimidate and hurt people. They mean to cause serious harm. They really do mean to hit back twice as hard. Keep on recording everything—-and uploading it so the truth gets out and so Obama can’t deny his direct involvement. This is a fight for our great country!! Thanks for being such heroic patriots.
Here in Illinoissssss—–does me no good what so ever to email and call my senators Durbin, Burris and rep Bean. They’re awful!
It’s gonna be hot, Saturday afternoon, bring plenty of Kool-Aid.
I just saw this a few minutes ago. I will not be able to attend today. Does anyone know if anything else is being planned?
As I fellow Tea Party Patriot and member of Smart Girls Politics now hailing from Michigan (& former resident of your great city), I commend you all. Great counterstrategy! Very classy, to call a press conference, a peaceful protest and then to call-out the ACLU, NAACP, etc. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep up the good fight! Good courage! And let Mr. Gladney know that he’s in many a patriot’s heart today.
My first time here! I am going to try to go. Taking pepper spray.
Do anyone know if police will be there?
It’s a marginal area there.
I wish I could be there today. Please remember that it only takes one screw up by those of us that oppose tyranny to diminish all of our efforts. For instance, if you watch any other station than Fox you will never be able to tell that Mr. Gladney was a conservative attacked by the true mob!
When the Obamabots threaten violence, reward them with your best words only. Protesting is not what we are good at because we are usually so busy working!
I just got home; great turnout. I was a little late but one woman said SEIU would not even come down and talk. They just videod from the second story of the building. Mr Gladney was there earlier.
I suggest Tea Party organizations conduct Recall Vote campaigns during the month of August, at the same time Acorn and similar organizations will be conducting their campaign to promote the Heath Care Reform currently being put forth by Congress.
GO to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recall_election and it will tell you about Recall Voting.
GO to http://stlouis.missouri.org/citygov/electionbd/petition.html
While they may not gather enough votes to accomplish an actual recall, or be legally accepted, it will send a message that the population will take action if Health Care Reform is passed.
Missouri has a petition that anyone can sign to oppose healthcare reform
at http://www.Grassfire.org.
Grassfire.org has launched this emergency citizen petition opposing the government takeover of our healthcare system. We have just a few weeks to rally hundreds of thousands of citizens. Please sign below and refer your friends.
A this moment, there are Total signers: 339,951.
Angry and frustrated. I spent all afternoon looking for the protest due to the construction and closed off streets and never made it. On my way home (O’Fallon MO area), I saw a protest held at the corner of K&N and joined them for about 15 minutes. If anyone is looking for a HC protest, we can use more bodies there next week Saturday 8/15 between 1 pm and 2pm at the corner of K & N.
