Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-MO) will hold a press conference at McMahon Ford on Gravois tomorrrow (Tuesday) at 10:00 a.m.  At this presser, Carnahan will take credit for the Cash for Clunkers program that has infuriated consumers and car dealers alike . . . so much so that Chrysler today announced it will no longer participate.

Carnahan is the man who voted for stimulus without reading, who claimed ObamaCare is both deficit-neutral and deficit-reducing (in the same breath), and claims ObamaCare will save money through increasedd inefficiencies.

BRING Signs, camcorders, and friends

REMIND Russ that he is your employee, he works for you, he answers to you, not to Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, or Auntie Claire McCaskill.

ASK Russ if the Cash for Clunkers program transfers wealth from our kids to people who are in pretty good financial position already.

ASK Russ what kind of message we send by destroying perfectly good automobiles that could give many years of reliable service.

ASK Russ how reducing the used car market will help the poor who can’t afford a new car even with money stolen from future generations.

BE POLITE, but don’t be a sheep.  This guy is  your employee.  He works for you.  Remind him, remind yourself, and remind the media if they are there.
