This week marks the start of President Obama’s effort to drum up support for his health care “reform” within our neighborhoods by using the members of his group, Organizing for America, to canvass and flyer in our communities.

We need to do the same thing! Please, please take the time to either organize your own neighborhood walk, or join up with one that is already organized. Obama is trying to make sure the legislation passes before the end of July! We have no time to lose!

We need everyone to step up to the plate if we want to fight socialized medicine, rationing, poor quality health care, and bigger government! Please make that first step and get it organized!

Strategy
We want as many neighborhood walks as possible, but we also want to try to canvass the areas that Organizing for America will be canvassing! We went to their events page (http://tiny.cc/8UBxU) and found out where they will be canvassing. We are aiming to canvass the day, or hours, before they do so that voters can hear from both sides of the health care issue. If you can organize a walk to preempt the OFA walkers, then great! If not, do the walk anyway! The important thing is to get out and walk, no matter when.
