Tax Day Tea Party April 15 *updates*
Sound Problem Solved: Sound for the Tax Day Tea Party will be provided by a top-shelf event sound and light professional. You will have no trouble hearing!
Venue: Kiener Plaza is official. Many thanks to JoAnn Anderson of the St. Louis Parks department for her help. Please pray for JoAnn who’s been through a couple of health issues lately.
Tea Party Gear Coming Soon: Bill Lux, famous for the flow chart sign he created for our 2/27 Tea Party, has developed an outstanding logo. We will produce t-shirts, bumper stickers, and fine, American-made pins to tell the world, “We’re Tea Party Patriots.”
Food Drive: The Tea Party movement is a solution. Part of that solution is taking care of those who need help in our midst. So plan to bring can goods and other necessities for St. Louis area food pantries to the April 15 event. Let’s show the world that we don’t need government to care for those in need.
Donations: The Tax Day Tea Party will cost about $1,100. We’ve received $405 in donations so far. If you can spare $2, $5, or $10, please do so using the donation button on the right.

On February 27, we expected 50 to 100 people to gather on the steps of the Arch to protest idiotic borrowing, spending, and taxing that encourages bad financial decisions by corporations, governments, and individuals alike.
We were way off on our estimate; over 1,000 people turned out.
There is is seething fury brewing in the hearts and minds of America’s most productive, most responsible citizens, and the cure is ANOTHER TEA PARTY!
This time, we’re meeing in Kiener Plaza where we can watch our happless fellows deliver their ransom to Uncle Sam at the Main Post Office across the street. We’ll have speakers, sounds, and all sorts of wonderful information.
Bring all of your family, friends, and neighbors. Our numbers, our message, and our voice will reach Washington and MSNBC.

I had seen a couple of weeks back some suggestions for signage for this event.
I felt that some were in poor taste and I hope that people attending the Tea Party will show restraint and use their good judgement like they always do and either have signs which are in good taste or none at all.
